I can not recommend Video Games Live enough. Rating: 5 out of 5 A Perfect Blend of Art, Video Games and Music by HappyHaunt999 on 10/8/19 Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh. At least make this clear for each individual site so we don’t show up early for nothing. The show was fantastic, but the website promoted presos activities with doors opening and hour and a half early to enjoy them. ![]() on 10/8/19 Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh Entertaining and you don’t need hVe to dress up for this one. A little culture with a little retro gaming fun. I was happy to see and hear Mario and Skyrim (my favs) featured at this show and my husband was delighted to see all his favorites as well! We definitely want to go back and possibly bring our oldest son who is just beginning to discover a love for gaming. Lights were featured along with clips of game play to each piece of music played in perfect timing. The symphony and choir were amazingly talented as well as the conductor. He was very laid back, friendly and wanted to ensure the audience was having a good time. The host was great, didn’t speak too much, but enough to keep the show rolling and to share a bit about himself and his passion for gaming music. The variety was awesome, everything from back in the day classics to today’s top selling games. ![]() My husband and I went to this show as a date night and we had a blast! He’s a big gamer, me not so much, but I still saw and heard games I knew and a few that I personally love.
